American Cryptids is a live, episodic, documentary-musical-travelogue about cryptids (think BigFoot or The Moth Man) and the people who have encountered them. My co-creator Andrew Farmer and I visit regions with a legendary creature to conduct interviews, gather research, and bring together community members to build a show about the place they call home and the creature that might just live there with them.
We developed our NYC episode as part of The Civilians R&D Group, and The Civilians continue to incubate and support the project as we attempt to embark on new episodes about new places in collaboration with other communities. Check out my demos of the tracks from the NYC episode below!
